Hello! Welcome to another interview with two more rulers of Mundus! Today, we’ll be talking to Perrin and Olivia, the king and queen of Regnum Tértium.
Hello! It’s an honor to be here.
Let’s start with the basics. Where did you two grow up?
I spent most of my time in Tértium, but my siblings and I frequently visited our maternal grandparents in Secundum; they were the rulers, you know. There was actually a time when I considered Secundum my true home instead of Tértium.
I can relate.
And I grew up in a town in Quartum not far from the capital. My father is a merchant.
It sounds like you come from rather different circles. How did you meet?
To make a long story short, my grandfather wanted my brother, Andrin, and me to see the rest of Mundus before we ascended to our respective thrones. He said his own father had done that with him, and he thought it was a good experience. So he sent us out on a vacation of sorts. The king of Quartum at the time was a cousin of ours, so we stayed at his palace when we visited there. As Olivia said, she grew up not far from the capital, so we met one day.
Cool! How do you like being a queen, Olivia?
I certainly never expected to be one. But I quite like it now that I am; I enjoy helping Perrin rule.
If you could know one thing about the future, what would it be?
I would like to know if the changes I’ve made in my kingdom will last. I’ve put so much effort into making Tértium a place where people want to live; it would be nice to know if my descendants will carry it on.
I’d like to know who exactly those descendants will be.
What’s your favorite color?
A nice bluey-grey, with just a hint of green intermixed.
He’s very specific. *laughs* I rather like a simple rose color.
What do you do to relax?
I like to sit outside at night and stare at the stars. Doing so on a camping trip is even better.
I enjoy working in the palace gardens, especially with our daughter, Maia.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I’m an extrovert to a certain degree. I enjoy being around others, but I think best by myself.
I’m also an extrovert, though I prefer to listen to a conversation rather than join it.
Tea or water?
Water. I can’t stand tea…
I don’t mind tea, but I also prefer water.
Would you rather go to the sea or the mountains?
Sorry, Olivia, but I have to say the mountains. There’s something so majestic about them that the sea just can’t imitate.
Well, you’re certainly entitled to your opinion. As for me, I’ve loved the sea for as long as I can remember.
Which isn’t surprising, seeing as you grew up on the seashore.
Well, thanks for talking with me! I’ve enjoyed it!
Thank you; we’ve enjoyed the conversation.
Meet Andrin and Moira, the rulers of Regnum Secundum, here!
